Increased UV-B radiation can upset tadpole metamorphosis. This bad news for the tads. We have no direct proof, but the prediction is that this is contributing to population declines. Speculation, but possible.

A fellow accidentally ingested some alpha-L-glucose and discovered that he had no ill effects. Apparently he was ambidextrose.
